Wendy R. Boswell

Wendy R. Boswell is an Associate Professor and Mays Research Fellow in the Department of Management, Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. She is the Director of the Center for Human Resource Management and coordinator of the Masters in Human Resource Management Program at Texas A&M. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and her M.S. and Ph.D. from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. Dr. Boswell’s research interests include employee attraction and retention, employee strategic alignment, job search behavior, work-related stress, and conflict management. Her work has appeared in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Management. She also serves on the editorial boards of Personnel Psychology, Journal of Managerial Issues, Human Resource Management Journal, and the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly. Dr. Boswell is a member of the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and American Psychological Association.
