The Great Lakes Software Excellence Conference is fast approaching, with tutorials on Nov.7 and technical sessions on Nov. 8. The conference will be held at Calvin College’s Prince Conference Center in Grand Rapids. Information is available at www.glsec.org.
The Southeastern Michigan Software Quality Assurance Association (SEMISQAA) is a new group that launched this fall. Event locations will alternate between Livonia and Troy (in Michigan). More information at www.semisqaa.org.
The Great Lakes Software Process Improvement Network has been sponsoring monthly meetings at Oakland University (Rochester, Michigan). Information available at www.gl-spin.org.
The Ann Arbor Software Quality Professionals (AASQP) is rotating its meetings to better accommodate members’ schedules. Voting to select the best meeting date takes place mid-month. Join the yahoo group tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/aa-sqp to be part of the conversation.

There has been interest in offering a one-day training program, consisting of several classes on software quality topics.
