ASQ’s Quality Basics
This new instructor-led course consists of four modules and
a wrap-up session to be delivered over four hours. Participants
do not need computer access to complete this course.
ASQ’s Quality Basics includes pre- and post-testing to
demonstrate learning gains, numerous classroom activities for
each module, and suggested opportunities for facilitators to
add company-specific commentary or content. This provides the
flexibility for organizations to reinforce their own cultural
preferences. ASQ’s Quality 101 is the suggested
prerequisite for facilitator’s teaching this course,
especially for those without a quality background. It also is
recommended for audiences requiring deeper knowledge about
fundamental quality practices.

Delivery Options
ASQ's Quality Basics course can be adapted for internal
training at your location. Three options are available. They
include:
- Option One: Facilitation on your own. The comprehensive
Instructor's Notes and presentation slides provide everything
you need to successfully offer your own In-House/On-Site
training, including a suggested agenda, syllabus and numerous
opportunities to reinforce company philosophies and practices

- Option Two: ASQ provided facilitator. A qualified ASQ
instructor will travel to your site and facilitate the

university near you. Quality Basics is offered at colleges
and universities across the country. To locate a college or

Volume Discounts available. The larger your training
audience, the more you save. Facilitator materials are not sold
separately. A minimum purchase of 10 sets of participant
materials is required to purchase a facilitator’s kit.
