Certified Quality Auditor

Who will benefit from ASQ's CQA Self-Directed Learning Program?

How to Make this Training Work for You

  1. Assess your knowledge

Begin your studies by completing the pre-test. The pre-test evaluates your current understanding of auditing and generates an individual study plan that allows you to focus study time on the areas requiring the most attention.

  2. Complete self-study

Each program has study materials reflecting ASQ's 2004 Body of Knowledge. Each program has an index, a bibliography, and a glossary for easy access to content and additional information.

  3. Complete module-specific tests

Regular opportunities to check for understanding are critical. After you have studied a printed module, you can check your understanding with a 10 question test. Each question provides the reasoning for the correct answer to help you clarify your understanding. You can complete module-specific tests multiple times before questions are repeated.

  4. Complete the case studies

After you have studied all the modules, you can apply your understanding of the content and better prepare for the case studies on the CQA exam by reading and answering the related questions for five case studies. Each case includes background information and a set of multiple-choice questions about the case.

  5. Measure your learning gain

The post-test evaluates mastery of the concepts and provides feedback about areas requiring additional study and review. This is a powerful tool to evaluate readiness for the certification exams.

  6. Print a report

The final report documents individual performance throughout the entire program. Scores of 80% or higher can earn 3.3 CEU or RU credits. Optional Certificates of Completion are awarded to participants who submit their results to ASQ.

Delivery Options

Individual users and multi-user groups can select the delivery option that best meets their needs. Both options cover the new CQA body of knowledge content in print-based modules, delivering the testing via:
