Planning Experiments, the First Real Task in Reaching a Goal

Quality Engineering vol. 21 issue 1 - January 2009

Abstract:[This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] In an industrial environment, it is important to pay close attention to the planning stage of an experimental process where various factors can strongly influence the results of the study. Using an actual DoE application, it is demonstrated how the best responses to analyze are chosen, which factors to evaluate are determined, and what data sample collection criteria to use.
