Dr. Bruce DeRuntz

Dr. Bruce DeRuntz is an Associate Professor in the College of Engineering at Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he teaches classes in quality and project management. He publishes and consults with Fortune 500 companies on the development of human resources for six sigma and project
management teams. His experience includes 12 years in the automotive and defense industries as a quality engineer and manager. He holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development, a M.S. in Manufacturing Systems and a B.S in Industrial Technology. Bruce is the Editor of the Quality Management Forum and the Associate Editor of the Journal of Industrial Technology. He is a Fellow with the ASQ and holds certifications for Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Engineer.
