Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Cultural differences can be a significant challenge when attempting to implement standard processes across multiple projects, business units, and sites. These differences may be between people living in different regions or countries, but may also be between parts of the company that have distinctive management styles. Some challenges and benefits gained are examined in two case studies of multi-site quality programs within the same organization.
