Abstract: The decision administrators from Harrison School Distrct in Colorado Springs, CO, made to open its classroom doors to improve the teacher evaluation system was met with challenges. No other decision created as much emotion and cognitive dissonance among the staff. It was a key first step in creating a culture of instructional feedback and improving the quality of instruction.
