Abstract: The discussion explores how mentoring affects project success in organizations at three levels of Six Sigma expertise: champions, project leaders, and team members. The paper concludes that mentoring has a positive impact on project success for all members of the organization, and the more effective the mentoring the more project success is experienced by the team members. Mentoring has a similar effect on all members of a project team, including team sponsors, team leaders, and team members.
