Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]
This study focuses on the development of a multistage sampling plan that is based on Cpk and adjusted for acceptance sampling for quantitative variables, drawn as a random sample having a normal distribution with known variance. When compared to MIL-STD-414, the Cpk sampling plan was found to be less likely to reject good lots or accept defective lots. In addition, the required sample size is smaller for processes with high capability indexes.
