Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Team charters are introduced and developed as tools to connect corporate mission statements and activities to activities at the team level. The foundation of team charters is provided by psychological contracts and realistic job previews. Guidance on the content of team charters is given, and applications and limitations are discussed.
