Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]
This study shows how the application of lean Six Sigma in financial service organizations can improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The lack of a clear definition is an important cause of project failure. To rectify this situation, seven standard project definitions, or generic templates, are provided that may be used as a guide in the definition phase. Project leaders will be able to form clear project definitions that have attainable goals and solid business rationale.
