Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] For the first time in history we now have at least four generations of workers in the workplace. Since teams perform most of the work in an organization, they will have to cope with various experience levels, viewpoints, and preferences. Aging baby boomers make up the largest group by far. Considering the brain drain and loss of knowledge that will come with their retirement, will it be possible to retain a corporate and team culture? What are the implications of these demographic and psychographic shifts in the workforce? Discussion centers on how to effectively transfer technical knowledge, team skills, quality technology, and leadership skills.
