Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] There is an abundance of good ideas, but it is rare that a good idea becomes implemented to a successful conclusion. That is because it is difficult to convince the right people to make it happen and sustain it through the journey. By looking at our own motives and how the idea was presented we may find there is something in the way the message was delivered that created the negative response to the idea. Learning how to work your way through tough personality-driven issues is a skill every manager must accomplish as more is learned about human behavior and the dynamics of change.
