Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]
The improvement of the source code review technique for embedded software development projects is discussed. In addition, an effective approach to source code review for embedded software is proposed. The problems with current review techniques were identified in a survey of embedded software development projects in Japan. A new review technique is proposed based on the selection of the target source code and the review check items selected according to the target software features. Results of the experimental application and the usefulness of the proposed technique are discussed.
