Abstract: Innovation may be defined as the successful implementation of creative ideas within an organization. It is valued by business leaders for its ability to instill permanent modes of thinking and accepted ways of interpreting practices concerning quality that define and organization's culture. But innovation does not happen by following standards. It comes about by single-minded pursuit for excellence. Nine imperatives are considered to help organizations build a quality culture.
