Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.]
When dealing with the organizational disruption that results from reorganization, leadership change, acquisition, or a shift in corporate strategy, having a sound methodology is not always enough to ensure the adoption of proven performance practices. Often, internal political and cultural systems condemn the group sponsoring the performance practices to failure. Acceptance by the new regime can only occur when the sponsoring group is well prepared so that it can demonstrate its capability and value to the new organization.
