Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.]The application of total quality management (TQM) is investigated in five hospitals in Amman, Jordan. The study was conducted using a five-point Likert scale survey, and reliability of the data was established by computing Cronbach's alpha. Although the extent of TQM application showed some variation, the investigation showed that each hospital applied TQM at a relatively high level, and that the correlation between the extent of the overall application and the values of the chosen performance indicators were direct and positive.
