Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] Expressing his dismay that acceptance sampling has been called into question by consultants and is no longer mentioned in the literature, the author counters with a light-hearted review of acceptance sampling theory. A practical demonstration of application from first principles using Microsoft Excel is provided. It is then shown why c = 0 is either the unforeseen consequence of popularity-based science or an indication that the end is near. <>
