Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]Previous research has studied the Deming cost model by the go/no go data. Through the Bayesian approach, the model consists of a two-stage decision that minimizes expected total cost. The first stage determines the optimal sample size, and the second stage decides whether to stop or continue inspection of the remaining sample lot. An approximate solution to the model is determined by numerical integration. The cost difference between using the measurement data and the corresponding go/no go data is also investigated.
