Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]A study is presented of quality management in Pakistan's knitwear industry. Questionnaires were sent to members of the Pakistan Knitwear and Sweaters Exporters Association. Responses indicated that quality management in the industry is in various stages of development, with most efforts focused on quality inspection. Although attempts at quality assurance were evident, Pakistan's knitwear industry has yet to accept a quality philosophy as part of its overall business approach.
