Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]A procedure is proposed to resolve dynamic multi-response problems based on Taguchi's parameter design. The technique for order preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) is incorporated into the Grey relational model based on Taguchi's quality loss function to assess the respective response performance. In addition to determining the optimal parameter setting, the proposed method reduces the conflicts when determining the optimal parameter setting for the multi-response problems. The procedure is demonstrated in the biological reduction of an ethyl acetoacetate.
