Abstract: The National Quality Award is a trophy award acknowledging excellence in management of Brazilian organizations. It promotes understanding of the requirements to reach performance excellence, competitive improvement, exchange of information, and the benefits resulting from the use of the Excellence Criteria. This paper reports on results obtained by the foundation over the past ten years.
