It is with great sadness that ASQ reports tragic news concerning Randy Sitter, Professor of Statistics at Simon Fraser University, and editor of Technometrics. On Wednesday, September 19, Randy went on a kayaking trip in the Lummi Island area off Washington State. When he failed to return, the U.S. Coast Guard, family, and friends conducted a comprehensive search, but to no avail.
