Manuscript Review Process

Manuscripts published in SQP undergo blind reviews by two or more peer referees (quality professionals). The process takes eight to ten weeks, during which time the reviewers advise the editors regarding the article’s merit for SQP’s audience and make suggestions for improving the article.

Prior to the review process, one of SQP’s editors screens each manuscript to verify it is appropriate for formal review. We promptly return manuscripts the editors determine are not a match for SQP’s audience or mission.

Because the reviewers are asked to judge the merits of each submission without being informed of the identities or affiliations of the authors, please avoid placing your name or other obvious identifiers in the body of the paper.

Manuscripts submitted to SQP must be the original work of the author(s) and substantially different from other works previously published or under review by another publication.
