Manuscript Review Process

Manuscripts published in Six Sigma Forum Magazine undergo a blind review by two or more peer referees (quality professionals). The process takes eight to ten weeks, during which the reviewers advise the editors regarding the article's merit for SSFM’s audience and make suggestions for improving the article.

Prior to the review process, one of SSFM’s editors screens each manuscript to verify it’s appropriate for formal review. We promptly return manuscripts the editors deem not a match for SSFM’s audience or mission.

Because the reviewers are asked to judge the merits of each submission without being informed of the identities or affiliations of the authors, please avoid placing your name or other obvious identifiers within the body of the paper.

Manuscripts submitted to SSFM must be the original work of the author(s) and substantially different from other works previously published or under review by another publication.
