Snapshot Shows ISO 9001:2000 Rises, While QS-9000 Declines

In a registration report through March 8, 2004, the US and North America for the first time show more ISO 9001:2000 than ISO 9001/2/3:1994 certificates. The report reveals only a slight decline in total ISO 9001/2/3 registrations in North America, with a rebound in Canada. However, US and North American registrations to QS-9000 have declined 10.1% since September 17, 2003. Two tables and four figures present a quick look at potential trends.
