After Editorial Review, ISO 14001 to Be Elevated to FDIS

The outcome of a March 2004 meeting of TC 207/SC 1/WG 1 is that ISO 14001 will be elevated to FDIS once an editorial group addresses remaining comments on the DIS. Roughly two-thirds of 618 comments were reviewed and several changes were made to the DIS as a result. According to Connie Glover Ritzert, these included acceptance of a US proposed rewrite of Subclause 4.5.3, Nonconformity, Corrective and Preventive Action, with some modification.
