The ISO 9000:2000 PSI IDEAS Q&A—Customer Requirements

The IDEAS Q&A is aimed at providing a variety of perspectives on requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and the challenges they present to users. Question 18 is: What successful ways have organizations used to ensure that the implementation of the clauses/subclauses of ISO 9001:2000 that relate to customer requirements are aligned with what has been implemented to satisfy the management, measurement and analysis requirements found in Clause 5.6, Subclause 8.2.1 and Clause 8.4, so that customer requirements are effectively satisfied? What will an auditor expect to see that demonstrates proper alignment of the QMS with these ISO 9001 requirements?
