When It Comes to Registration, Let the Buyer Be Aware!

As December 15, 2003, approaches, let the buyer be aware! At a time when many US organizations have not yet completed their transitions and there are initial reports of options being offered that do not involve transitioning to an accredited ISO 9001:2000 certificate, it may be useful to examine the key reasons organizations pursue registration, what the real value of registration is, what the latest registration data shows and what gives value to your certificate. While options that do not involve the IAF deadline of December 15 may be suitable to some, you need to consider what the right reasons and right ways of obtaining registration are for you to gain value from the effort.
