US to Push Process Focus for Dispute/Codes of Conduct NWIs

The proposed guidelines standards on external dispute resolution systems and market-based codes of conduct may yet have a linkage to the process approach. On August 27, 2003, US TG 10001/10002 met to begin developing preliminary US positions on ISO 10001 and ISO 10002. Meanwhile, work on a US supplement to ISO 19011:2002 has reached the CD for comment stage. Information on the two NWIs and the US TG 10001/10002 meeting as well as on the latest developments involving the US EMS/QMS auditing supplement is provided.
