IATF Issues Two ISO/TS 16949:2002 Interpretations
The IATF has issued two new sanctioned interpretations regarding ISO/TS 16949:2002 that address the rules registrars are to adhere to in conducting audits. The IATF has also issued contracts to three more registrars, while Ford has revised its customer-specific requirements for ISO/TS 16949:2002 and the AIAG has published The ISO/TS 16949:2002 Implementation Guide. This report provides a summary of these developments affecting automotive suppliers to OEMs that subscribe to the use of ISO/TS 16949:2002 for registration purposes.
