Why Are Traditional ASQ Certifications Less Sought?
Abhijit Sengupta, Janet McDonald and Lloyd D. Brumfield write that ASQ
has long been involved in the certification process, beginning with its
CQE exam in 1968. Yet, attendance for certification exams is on the decline.
Sengupta, McDonald and Brumfield present statistics gathered to examine
the decline and to determine whether some certification exams should be
replaced and some should be retained, as supported by verifiable data,
while some of those relative to QMSs remain relatively healthy.
