US Passes 12K Mark for ISO 9001:2000, Nears 30%

US registrations to ISO 9001:2000 accounted for 27.9% of all its ISO 9001/2/3 certificates as of September 17, with Canada reaching 31% and Mexico reaching 26.4%. US registrations to ISO 9001:2000 surpassed 12,000 certificates in the latest registration trends report, registrations to the aerospace and medical devices QMS standards reached the 1,000-certificate mark and ISO 14001 registrations topped 3,000 in the United States and 4,500 in North America.
