42 Registrars Now on List for ISO/TS 16949:2002

On January 9, 2003, the IATF posted an initial list of 42 CBs/registrars granted contracts to conduct registration assessments against ISO/TS 16949:2002, 41 of which have contracts for the 1999 edition. According to Joe Bransky, 7 more registrars have been approved for contracts and will be posted to the IATF web site soon, with several more applicants likely to be approved in the near future. A list of the 42 registrars is included, along with information about online accessing, Ford’s transition to ISO 9001:2000 and the appointment of Tripp Martin as Managing Director of the IAOB.
