ISO 9001:2000Overcome Those "Sticky" Clauses
Charles A. Cianfrani and Jack West write that the initial
experience with ISO 9001:2000 has indicated that some requirements
have proven to be more easily understood than others. It is
often these other requirements that involve getting "unstuck"
from old ways of doing things or thinking or even from the
paralysis that the required change involves. They take a look
at five requirements contained in the clauses and subclauses
of ISO 9001:2000 that have proven the most troubling or sticky
regarding effective implementation in order to provide some
guidance if your organization has not yet completed the transition
or has but you feel the revised QMS could be made stronger.
