US "Yes" Vote Recommended on EMS/QMS Auditing
Standard
Although the US leadership is recommending a vote of approval
for ISO/FDIS 19011, a proposal is expected to circulate soon
that could lead to development of US supplemental guidance
to fill identified gaps in the guidance provided on EMS and
QMS internal audits and simpler external audits of EMSs, QMSs
and integrated systems. Details are provided on the US recommendation
and the NWIP.
