ISO 14001/4 CDs Are Focus of US TAG to TC 207 Meeting

On March 31, the US TAG submitted 51 comments on ISO/CD ISO 14001 based on the results of US SubTAG 1’s review of the TAG comments in Indianapolis in March 2002. The ISO 14001 CD for Comment shows that there have been efforts to "make it better" by adding what amount to new requirements, and many US TAG comments oppose them because they would add requirements and/or make the requirements more difficult to understand. Information on the general results of the SubTAG 1 meeting and other developments is provided, including on clarifications of intent, climate change, environmental communications and OHSMS activity.
