The ISO 9001:2000 PSI IDEAS Q&AAuditing Processes
The sixth question in the PSI IDEAS program is: How must
an organization set up its internal audits to audit processes
rather than independent clauses? How will internal auditors
determine that the system is effectively implemented? What
will differ in their auditing approach from ISO 9001/2:1994
to verify this requirement? How will third-party auditors
determine if a system has been effectively implemented? Are
there any different approaches or techniques that third-party
auditors will be using to verify the effectiveness of QMS
implementation? How does process auditing differ from what
has been done in the past?
