US TAG: Focus Is on Product Support for ISO 9001/4:2000

As ISO/TC 176 prepares to hold its annual meeting, users of the ISO 9000 standards may be wondering what the delegates need to meet about. However, the primary focus of the TC 176 meeting will be the same critical task addressed at a recent meeting of the US TAG, which can be summed up in two unusual words: product support. This report provides information on developments at the August 2002 US TAG meeting, including updates on several standards that are in the revision stage, progress within the PSI effort and the results of the US TG 9001/9004 session on the five WG 18 work items. Information on the publication of ISO 19011 is also included.
