ISO Survey: QMS Certificates Up 19%, EMSs Up 62%

In a year that ended with the issuance of ISO 9001:2000, 64,988 new ISO 9001/2/3 certificates of registration, along with 8,791 new ISO 14001 certificates, were reported in the 10th Cycle of The ISO Survey. They represent a worldwide increase in 2000 of 18.9% in ISO 9001/2/3 registrations and of 62.3% in ISO 14001 registrations, and there were 408,631 certificates for ISO 9001/2/3 and 22,897 for ISO 14001 contained in the latest ISO Survey. This report provides 10 figures and 2 tables containing ISO 9001/2/3 and ISO 14001 registration activity data from the ISO Survey, Annexes of QMS and EMS certificate totals by country, analysis of worldwide, North American and US data and trends and information on what the ISO Survey is.
