Moving From a Quality System to QMOS
This is the second part of a 2-part series on the history
of DaimlerChrysler Corporations movement to a QMOS that
sought continuous improvement and effective management of
Chrysler Manufacturings processes and product. Nate
Cunningham uses the history of COSs development as an
example of how a QMOS can be used within the automotive world
and any type of organization worldwide to make quality a critical,
consistent element of a companys business system. He
concludes the series by exploring how COS has been expanded
beyond Chrysler Manufacturing, including its role in the merger
with Daimler-Benz and the integration of ISO 14001.
