Reflections on the Freund-Marquardt Medal

Robert W. Peach, a Principal of Robert Peach and Associates, gave an acceptance speech at the recent ASQ Annual Quality Congress in Charlotte, NC, on his being awarded the first ASQ Freund-Marquardt Medal. This award recognizes individuals who have applied quality principles to the development, implementation and literature of management standards that achieve and assure quality. The key elements of his response are included in this article.
