Gaging the Challenges of Applying the QS-9000 TE Supplement

Melissa Syerson and Gary Phillips write that many gage companies have been required to become "registered" to the requirements of QS-9000 as modified by the TE Supplement, which presents significant difficulties for gage manufacturers. To help both those gage manufacturers still implementing the TE Supplement and those organizations that need to understand the situation gage manufacturers face, they explore some of the difficult issues and some options that can help them obtain registration and an effective quality system.
