Marketplace Trends:Taking the Pulse of ISO 14001 Registrations

Stewart Anderson reports that, as of March 1, the World Preferred Registry recorded 1,910 ISO 14001 certificates in North America. Although lower than registrations for ISO 9001/2/3:1994 and ISO 9001:2000, growth is increasing at a fairly rapid rate. Anderson examines the growth and dynamics of ISO 14001 registration in North America, particularly among organizations that had prior experience with ISO 9001/2/3 registration.
