US TAG to TC 176: US Leadership Recommends Three “Yes” Votes

On September 14, 2000, the concluding day of a meeting of the US TAG to ISO/TC 176, the FDISs of ISO 9000:2000, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9004:2000 began to circulate for a 2-month vote of approval. The leadership of the US TAG recommended that the TAG vote to approve all three FDISs, which was well-received by the meeting participants. Summaries of developments and activities at the TAG meeting are provided, including a look at five areas of future TC 176 and US TAG activity and tentative plans to hold the healthcare ITA workshop in Warren, MI, in late October.
