Implementing Internal Auditing in a Small Business: Answers
Melissa Syerson of Syerson Consulting emphasizes that the
internal auditing program must be developed, implemented and
maintained in such a way that the organization receives a
great deal of value added to its business, even though this
is more difficult for a small company. Syerson presents six
questions that any company must answer for its internal auditing
program to be a highly value-added system, and she provides
detailed insights about what small companies must weigh in
choosing answers that represent opportunities.
