Analysis of ISO/FDIS 9001:2000, With Guidance
References
This is the second part of an in-depth subclause-by-subclause
analysis of the requirements as presently specified in ISO/FDIS
9001. Appropriate references are included to the guidance
offered by ISO/FDIS 9004 on the same QMS elements and to the
definitions contained and concepts explored in ISO/FDIS 9000
to help your organization better understand what requirements
mean. The analysis serves as a summarization of ISO/FDIS 9001
to help you become acquainted with its requirements, and the
references to ISO/FDIS 9004 and ISO/FDIS 9000 demonstrate
the value these guidance standards offer. Sections 5-7.4 of
ISO/FDIS 9001 are covered, with a table showing where the
requirements appeared in ISO 9001:1994 and noting significant
changes since the DIS.
