Koalaty Kid training (for elementary school teams)
This is a six-day course (conducted during six full-day sessions over a two-to-five-month period) designed to provide instruction in quality improvement/scientific problem-solving methodologies to members of the education community.
The course integrates the Theory (why we want to do things differently), the Process (what we do), and the Tools (how we make the process work).
As teachers, administrators and others in the school community implement the process of improvement, they transfer the understanding and philosophy of quality and continuous improvement to students, who will need this knowledge in future job markets.
Participants work on actual projects that they choose during the training and receive facilitation and feedback, as well as instruction on the process, from the trainers. Specific strategies to transfer applications to the classroom environment are part of the training process.
