Learning Outcomes
- Explain the theory (Six Principles) that drive the continuous-improvement process, and the implications of using the theory within the process.
- Use the seven-step problem-solving methodology for process improvement within the classroom or in administrative settings.
- Use the problem-solving, communication, and data-reporting tools (when to use them, how to construct them, etc.).
- Function as part of a team using consensus as the preferred method of decision making.
- Identify desired system outputs (based upon customer need), and measure current performance (baseline data) and system improvement.
- Replicate the process in other aspects of the school environment.
